Bishop asks Christians to repent, forgive

Ntungamo - As the Christians start celebrations to mark the death and resurection of Jesus Christ, the Bishop of South Ankole Diocese, Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe has asked followers of Jesus Christ to repent and forgive those who wronged them.

Christians from Ntungamo Municipality, Kajara, Ruhaama and Rushenyi counties in South Ankole Diocese large held a joint Way of the Cross procession.

Bishop Ahimbisibwe asked believers to renew their faith and resist temptation.
Rev Fr Richard Denis Ssebugwawo the vicar of Sacred Heart Ntungamo Catholic Parish commended the unity and cooperation amongst Christians.
The MP Kajara County, Mr Timuzigu Micheal Kamugisha asked believers to be committed and endure suffering in their faith and preach against corruption at all levels.

Hon Timuzigu hailed the various religious leaders and Christians for the cohesion among the different denominations in the country.
