First Team Uganda batch leaves for Commonwealth Games

KAMPALA.
The first batch of Uganda's contingent to the 2018 Commonwealth Games has this morning left for Gold Coast, Australia. 
The batch includes five boxers, 11 eleven netballers, two table tennis players, three badminton players and four weightlifters. Another batch will travel April 3 before the Games kick off April 5
Prior to the departure, the athletes received their kit package at the National Council of Sports under the supervision of Team Uganda manager Bernard Ogwel. 
They travelled in three separate vans.
