It was an opera musical affair and vocal experience at Sound Cup, Garden City last Thursday when a band of four talented men of the Sauti Ya Africa fame held an evening show filled with acoustic performances that left revellers in applause.
The one-hour performance, from the former students of Kampala Music School, showcased the creativity and professionalism by the crew when Ben Katumba, Francis Mutesasira, George Ssemaganda and Charles Dickens utilised guitars, keyboards and flutes, accompanied with their voices to drown the audience in soothing music.
They melodically performed different songs from their old albums that included Beautiful, Don’t You Ever, How Do I and those that they played out of request from the revelers, like Can You Feel, Endless, Beautiful In My Eyes.
Towards the culmination of the show, selected revellers were given a chance to join the band and sing along as the crew offered a musical experience with sophisticated jazz, laid-back rhythm, blues and instrumentals.
