This prayer concept cuts across all religions and is most popular amongst the female folk. Everybody answers to a higher power and for the women in homes it is not uncommon to find that being the centre of the home you have people feeding off you and on you, either way, we are constantly in the giving position.
“Where are my socks?” “I do not like pasta, is there something else?” “Have you seen my keys?” “The tomatoes are finished, I don’t have clean clothes (it is usually not the case)? “Your dogs have dug up our flowers.” The list of demands a woman faces daily is endless.
So, where do you go to for replenishing within the same area footage? To God. And the effective way to do this in your home is to retreat into your prayer room. Where you are able to read from a spiritually edifying book and pray. As such this room should scream:
Tranquillity
Choose a cool colour pallet. Having a potted plant in here to bring nature, life, growth feel can help get you into a receivership mode.
Space
Put very minimal furniture to allow for free movement.
Privacy
