The Christmas cheer is on and rightly the prime time for entertainers to make good of their talents. Last weekend, the Good Lyfe Crew kicked in the festive party mood with their Potential Xmas party at Kyaddondo Rugby Club where they hosted fans to an evening of performances alongside their friends - most of these new kids on the block, who made sure they proved their musical potential, as fans cheered them on.
However, fans had to wait till 2a.m. for the night’s main performers, Mowzey Radio and Weasel. They did most of their songs from Nakudata, Nyumbani, and Ngamba, to their current hits like Potential and Kuku among others, in a performance that lasted for approximately an hour.

The sound and lighting were a fair package, further enhanced with good graphics that were displayed on the stage and projector screens for revellers in almost every corner, to get a clearer view of the stage action. Things got heated up when entertainers like Michael Ross stepped up to entertain with his dance moves, Aziz Azion with his love tunes, Cindy with a dancehall style thanks to her new release One and Only and Ayokyayokya and then Rabadaba who stole the show. The crowd welcomed him with an ovation thanks to his new hits Bwekiri and Mukyamu on which he qualified his title ‘mukyamu’ with powerful stage presence, fine, witty rhyme fused in a raga package that worked fans with whom he shared some love, giving out a few CDs.

Buchaman was no less powerful with his ‘hardcore’ ragga freestyle that he used to call on fans to join the Fire Base Crew to which he’s Vice President, at their Boxing Day fete on which they’ll officially open Bobi Wine’s One Love beach. Blu3 came on and GNL Zamba joined them to do their Kakana collaboration. He stayed on and was joined by his Baboon forest entertainment crew to share more luga- rhymes before the main performers took centre stage.
