He said agricultural technologies for exhibition will comprise of local and international products like improved seeds and animal breeds, fertilizers for organic and conventional as well as agro-chemicals. Others are agricultural production machinery, irrigation equipment, post harvest handling technologies and value added technologies and environment management practices.

Mr Ogang said that the show would give farmers and different stakeholders to an opportunity to learn about new research in the agriculture sector as well as providing exposure to market opportunities for the various farm products. He commended government for the support to the various farmers in providing modern farming technologies which have helped to increase productivity. He said government has also supported the farmers’ federation through funding the construction and development of the show ground into the modern facility.
