anti-ageing remedies that work

Are you afraid of aging and wondering how to keep looking younger? Well then, feed on a balanced diet while paying attention to fruits such as straw, black and rasp berries, grapes and Vitamin C-rich foods such as oranges and lemons.

These contain antioxidants that defend the body against aging. Avocado, a fruit rich in vitamin E and oils is also essential for proper skin maintenance.

It works from within and outside the body and on the hair. Nuts, a source of minerals such as zinc, magnesium, potassium, copper and selenium help boost the immune system, digestive system and improve the skin quality by controlling the cholesterol levels in the body.

Cruciferous vegetables like cabbages, cauliflowers, broccoli, turnip and radish also help. Jamil Mpiima, a nutritionist says: “These vegetables reduce the impact of toxins and cancers in the body.” They can be eaten raw or lightly cooked.

Also, drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. “Sometimes people use vitamin E supplements for their skins to look young younger but this is dangerous. They should only use them after medical prescriptions by the physician,” Mpiima advises.
