How much rolex is too much?

If taken in big amounts, rolexcauses constipation, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, and pulmonary embolism. To be eaten on a daily basis, a rolex should only have one egg.

If you are young, live in an urban centre and do not have a stable plan for daily dinner, chances are you that have eaten a rolex.

A rolex is really an egg roll made with chapatti and stuffed with vegetables and occasionally, meats.

This delicacy is a comparatively cheap and quick meal which takes about 10 minutes to prepare.

According to Sarah Muitta Magoola, a nutritionist with International Hospital, Kampala and Mengo Hospital, rolex is a complete meal. ‘Rolex has protein from the egg, starch from the chapatti, from the oil used to fry it and cabbage and tomatoes provide vitamins and minerals.

However, the fact that both the egg and the chapatti are fried means that the oil content is on the high side. The flour in the chapatti is refined grain, which when consumed regularly and in big amounts could cause constipation.

Usually, people put use two to three eggs in the rolex and that is too much. If you are eating a rolex every day, it should only have one egg.

If you are active, some protein is converted into glucose, which is broken into energy. If this glucose is not being used, it is deposited as fat thus leading to weight gain.

The danger of eggs
“An egg has one of the highest levels of cholesterol. One large egg has about 186mg of cholesterol — all of which is found in the yolk,” says Ms Muitta. Over time, excessive consumption of eggs increases your risk of suffering diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, and pulmonary embolism or, what is commonly known as the ‘clot’.

Fast food
Many people eat rolex because it is easy to get. It is a fast food because one can just walk to the street and get one in a matter of minutes. However, there is an alternative. One could opt for other freshly made foods with less oil and cholesterol.
