1.What is Easter? Do you celebrate it?
As a Christian, Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. And yes, I do celebrate it by going to church and being with my family.
2.What must you carry in your purse?
My cell, pocket change and something for my lips.
3.Do you wear make-up? Which brands?
Yes, I do wear make up especially for my lips. Lipstick and lipsheen are a must. But would not lose sleep over which brands I have to use.
4.Have you ever had a bad hair day? How did you fix it?
Yes. How do I fix it? Head wraps are a magical trick. Tying it neatly around your head and of course team it rightly with your outfit. Remember, they are so African and unique in their right.
5.Whom do you look up to?
I do look up to my mother. She is a widow not so educated but hey, she has raised five of us, seen us through school. She is still taking care of my young brothers, I wonder if I would have handled such responsibility if I were in her shoes.
6.Have you ever felt like giving up on life?
Yes, especially after the death of my father. I was so close to him and when he died I could not accept it. I was bedridden for some time and even after recovering life became so hard. Everything seemed to change for worse.
7.What gets you angry? How do you deal with it?
As I grow up, I learn to get used to situations and people’s behaviour. So, the many things that used to get me angry in the past, I sail through them. I let go and know that time heals so many situations; situations change and I have learnt to believe in myself. So, you cannot put me down easily.
8.Are you dating?
Oh yes, I am engaged.
9. What craziest things have you ever done for love?
Funny things we do for love. One day, my man suffered a nosebleed and I cried my heart out. I later realised that was too much love.
10. You principle in life…
Hard work pays and never give up on the things you believe in.
