At this year's United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the Chil FemTech Center proudly announced a significant advancement in maternal healthcare with the expansion of its Keti AI platform.

Following a successful pilot that served over 50,000 pregnant women across Africa, Keti AI will now be deployed to an additional 108 health centers, with the ambitious goal of supporting 1 million pregnant women by 2026.

Dr. Shamim Nabuuma, CEO of Chil FemTech Center, stated, “Seeing the positive impact of our pilot program on 50,000 women has been incredibly rewarding. We’re thrilled to expand Keti AI and bring it to even more communities.”

This commitment underscores the center's mission to leverage technology for meaningful improvements in women’s health.

What distinguishes Keti AI is its integration of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI, which enhances communication and predictive capabilities in maternal healthcare.

“Our goal is to provide comprehensive, personalized support during and after pregnancy through the power of Natural Language Processing and AI,” Dr. Nabuuma added, emphasizing the platform's focus on improving healthcare delivery.

Keti AI offers an impressive array of resources, having already generated around 9.5 million AI-driven materials. These include videos, audio guides, and photographs that assist new mothers and caretakers.

The center anticipates that as the platform expands, nearly 500 million training materials will be accessible to support maternal and infant care. “We believe that every mother and child deserves access to essential care and support,” Dr. Nabuuma noted.

The platform features automated referrals to ensure timely care and real-time tracking of medical supplies, minimizing the risk of shortages. With tools designed for efficient management of patient data and healthcare staff schedules, Keti AI stands to revolutionize how maternity care is delivered.

As Chil FemTech Center embarks on this next phase of Keti AI, the focus remains on transforming maternal health through innovative, technology-driven solutions.

“Our commitment is to revolutionize women’s health through innovative AI solutions,” Dr. Nabuuma concluded, reinforcing the center's vision for the future of maternal healthcare. This groundbreaking initiative not only highlights the power of AI in healthcare but also addresses the pressing need for accessible and effective maternity support worldwide.

As Keti AI rolls out to more health centers, it promises to be a game-changer in supporting pregnant women and ensuring healthier outcomes for families across the globe.
