Demons attack Church school in Luweero
LUWEERO- Prayer teams from Luweero Diocesan Mission have camped at Luteete Secondary School that is reportedly under demonic attack.
The demon-possessed students reportedly screamed and made uncoordinated noise throwing the entire school in panic according to eye witnesses.
The Anglican Church founded school located in Bamunanika has been under attack for three days.
The students reportedly turned rowdy, triggering panic among teachers and students. Some of the students reportedly abandoned their classes and fled in fear.
The school head teacher Mr Ronald Kato confirmed the attacks at the school but denied earlier media reports that the school had been closed.
“On Monday some of our students were under mass demonic possession but the situation is now under control after prayer teams intervened,” Mr Kato said.
The Diocesan Secretary for Education Rev Paul Kakooza said on Thursday that the attack threw students and parents into panic on Monday and Tuesday.
“The team was dispatched to offer counselling services and pray with the students and the entire school community following the demonic attacks which affected the normal school programmes,” Rev Kakooza said.
He said some of the students who witnessed fellow students who were under attack are psychologically affected and have to counselled.
Mr James Kambugu, a parent neighbouring the school said the school has experienced several demonic attacks for the last two weeks.
“We have information that one of the teachers at the school is behind the evil powers for selfish gains. The community has already identified the teacher but we are still studying the situation,” Mr Kambugu said.
