Fire guts Namanve plastics factory
Fire on Saturday gutted Rocky Industries in Seeta Namanve destroying property valued at millions of shillings.
The factory manufactures plastic boots and slippers.
According to eye witnesses, the fire started at about 9 am.
Police Fire Brigade responded immediately and managed to extinguish the fire before it could cause extensive damage.
"At least no one person was injured and we managed to overcome this fire,” Mr Moses Seguya, the Mukono District Police Commander said.
