Gitex Global 2024 features groundbreaking innovations in AI, IoT, data, and cloud technologies from over 3,500 enterprises. North Star, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, offers a platform for startups to showcase their capabilities and compete for a $100,000 grand prize.

Emmanuel Twesigye, co-founder of EverLend Agritech Ltd and a semifinalist, expressed optimism about winning the prize. "This competition provides a unique opportunity for us to showcase our innovative solutions."

Leo Chen, Corporate Senior Vice President at Huawei, emphasized the event's potential for meaningful industry dialogue. "Gitex Global allows us to explore the possibilities of digital and intelligent transformation."

The event has seen the largest government and European participation in its history, with leading technology enterprises such as Adobe, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Dell, Google, Microsoft, and more participating alongside governments, investors, experts, academia, and researchers.

Key highlights of the event include the largest Data Centre Symposium in the region and the World Future Economy Digital Leaders Summit. GITEX Cyber Valley will also showcase the latest in cybersecurity, organized by the UAE Cyber Security Council.
