MBARARA: The ordination of 24 Christians into the priesthood and deaconry is underway at Nyamitanga cathedral.
Mbarara Archbishop Paul Kamuza Bakyenga who’s presiding over the function has thanked Christians for preparing their children to pass through different tests that require them to be health which they have gone through successfully.

A total of 11 Christians are to be ordained as priests while 13 as deacons.

"God created the world so that we beautify and enjoy it. I want to thank you for preparing these men to go through the tests and now they are about to become priests with better health," the Archbishop noted.
He has asked the priests to learn how to commit their bodies to God and abstain from the many world temptations that can obstruct their service to God.
"Learn how to teach people. Never tell the congregation on the pulpit what you do not understand. You tell the people of God what will change their lives," Archbishop Bakyenga said.
