Wakiso District headquarters is under security siege after a raid by officials from State House anti-corruption unit at the lands offices.
It is not clear as to why the Lt. Col Edith Nakalema-led committee have raided the offices.
This publication understands that six land officials have so far been handcuffed and detained at Wakiso District offices.

Mr Don Wanyama, the senior presidential press secretary who accompanied Col Nakalema to the district was still tight-lipped by the time of filing this story.
President Museveni named Col Nakalema head of State House anti-corruption task force last week following numerous complaints of corruption against government officials.

As Wakiso District is a major settlement area, it is dogged by land fraud cases with some district and the ministry of lands zonal officials being implicated.
All entrances and exits have been sealed off by the Special Forces Command (SFC) soldiers, regular army and police.
Although lands offices are located at block D which forms part of the district complex of four blocks, there is no one being allowed into other offices.
