JINJA. Two members of the Jobless Youth Brotherhood who reportedly called Parliament speaker Rebecca Kadaga a swine have been remanded to Kirinya prison after the Jinja Magistrate’s Court denied them bail.
Magistrate John Kagwa agreed with the pleas of the prosecution to deny the two suspects, Mr Augustine Ojobile and Mr Robert Mayanja, bail.
The prosecution says the duo is not trustworthy, considering their history of trouble making.
The two will appear in court again next Thursday to answer charges of inciting violence and defamation.
The suspects were arrested last week after calling Ms Kadaga a pig while on a radio talk show.
