Byanyima: My love for Besigye is unbreakable

Amid an ecstatic crowd on Thursday, Ms Winnie Byanyima, wife to IPC presidential flag bearer ‘renewed’ her love commitments for a man she described as “handsome, loving and caring”.
“Where do you want me to go if I leave such a handsome man,” Ms Byanyima said. “Those who are spreading rumours do not know the type of a man I have. We are simply inseparable”
Addressing a well-attended rally at Mbarara Booma Grounds, Ms Byanyima said there is no loving and caring man like her husband and that she could not imagine where she would be, if she had not met him.
Ms Byanyima, who was once a close ally to President Museveni, said those behind the romours were just jealous of the unbreakable love she has for Dr Besigye. She said: “He is such a loving and caring man. May be they are just jealous. I am surprised that even people can think about spreading that type of gossip. How can I leave him? Me!”
Ms Byanyima, the first female aeronautics engineer in Uganda, said her marriage with Dr Besigye is holy and that it was, among others, presided over by the Archbishop of Mbarara Diocese, Paul Bakyenga.
