KAMPALA. Oliver Twist and his companions suffered the tortures of slow starvation for three months and cried for more. Similarly, Uganda MX fans have been crying for more since August 2013.
At last their prayers have been answered with South Africa and Africa Freestyler Motocross champions Nick de Wit set to grace the 4th round of the Mountain Dew National Motocross Championship at Uganda Motocross Arena Busiika on Sunday, June 26.
The 31-year-old, South African, will treat the crowd to a cocktail of acrobatic stunts including the famous ‘Backflip’.

Free style training
“De Wit will be in the country next Thursday, June 23, and will be in Busiika the following day for a demonstration as well as training Uganda Free style riders,” Arthur Blick Jr, 10-time national MX champion, told the press at the launch of the event at Lugogo NCS headquarters yesterday.
“Then on Saturday he will be paraded in town ahead of the event on Sunday,” added Blick Jr, “Boda Boda riders interested are also invited for training.”
Riders Michael Ntailo, Fathu and Talha Kiggundu, and Blick Jr will also be part of the free style entertainment.
