Nkozi.

Uganda Martyrs University coach Shafik Bisaso believes the pressure is now on Nkumba ahead of the teams’ Nile Special University Football League (UFL) semifinal second leg meeting next week.
This is after the two teams played out a goalless draw in the first leg in Nkozi yesterday.
“The pressure is now on Nkumba when we visit them. They will be the ones at home and will feel it,” UMU coach Sahfik Bisaso said after the game.
Nkumba are seeking an immediate return to the final having lost out to Kampala University last year.
They came into the game high on confidence having scored tournament high 17 goals in eight games and boast of the tournament’s leading scorers in Fred Gwoto and Sharif Kimbowa with eight and six goals respectively. A defensive error almost gifted them a seventh minute lead when Gwoto was left in a one on one situation with Uganda Martyrs goalkeeper Julius Sekyewa.
The latter was, however, up to the task saving Gwoto’s shot before hosts UMU quickly took control of the game.
Their chance came in the 25th minute when leading marksman Douglas Owori’s shot beat the keeper but was cleared on the line by Nkumba defender Fahad Nsubuga.
UMU then picked up from where they had left off in the first half with Owori who has scored five goals thus far this time hitting the bar five minutes after the interval.
