The scarcity or shortage of formal jobs is increasingly forcing many market-ready youth into self-employment, with experts now suggesting that this trend is growing as a result of post-pandemic policies by employers seeking to cut costs. Japheth Kawanguzi, the Team Lead at the Innovation Village, however, says that the success of self-employment in the country will require more than just one's skillset.
