A meeting organized by the Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago and local leaders in Kawaala-Kampala to discuss the fate of the Lubigi wetland victims, was cut short after police intervened citing allegations of illegal assembly. The Kampala Lord Mayor stated that leaders from the affected areas will meet with the leadership of NEMA tomorrow to discuss the way forward.
