Rise in vasectomy use among Ugandan men

The number of men in Uganda opting for vasectomy as a family planning method is on the rise. This increase is attributed to greater awareness efforts by the Ministry of Health and its partners following the introduction of vasectomy.

This initiative emphasizes that birth control should be a shared responsibility between men and women. According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, over 7,000 men were introduced to this birth control method last year.
