Armed men Wednesday attacked Cheap Hardware Shop in Nansana town, Wakiso District and shot three   attendants dead.

Those who died instantly, according to Mr Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesman, are Jimmy Atuhura, the assistant manager of the shop and a one Frank Aruho.

He said two employees of the shop have been rushed to Mulago Hospital.

The attackers who were riding on three motorcycles, reportedly took off with an unspecified amount of money.

According to witnesses, the masked attackers cordoned off the hardware shop before opening fire on employees.

A witness identified as Mutesasira, says the attackers stormed the shop from a section that has no CCTV cameras to avoid being detected.

Police have cordoned off the crime scene.
